| Urinary tract infection(UTI) is infection of
your urinary system. The urinary system consists of the
kidneys, ureters, blader and uretha.Urinary tract infection
begins in uretha. Uretha is a tube that carries fluids from
your bladder to outside of your body. Normally, urine is
sterile. It is usually free of bacteria, viruses, and fungi
but does contain fluids, salts, and waste products. An
infection occurs when tiny organisms, usually bacteria from
the digestive tract, cling to the opening of the urethra and
begin to multiply. Infection can then spread further up the
uretha to the bladder. The real consequences can occur if
infection spreads to your kidney.
Women are more prone to get UTI (urinary tract infection),
because their urethra tube is shorter.
Risk Factors Any abnormality in
urinary tract that slows or obstrouct the flow of
urine (an enlarged prostate gland, kidney stones ). Diabetis or
any other state of body that weaker immune system of the
body higher the risk of urinary tract infection. With
elder people who and those with nervous problems who has
loose bladder control and need catheter, catheter is most
likely to cause urinary tract infection.
